We BBQed the wood! This piece of white oak was bent into a knot then charred in strategic places to give it a nice contrasting visual. The wood is has a very light coat of polyurethane as a finish so you can see the wood graining and imperfections clearly (that was on purpose). Please keep in mind that this piece is very natural looking and very light sanding ( a "gritty" look).
Our sculptures are 100% hand-bent and finished in Brooklyn, NY. Due to the nature of the wood bending process and the wood itself, each sculpture is unique. Variations in color, graining, and dimensions will exist.
Please note that plant variety may fluctuate according to season and availability.
Approximately 9" x 6" x 4"
Remove plant from sculpture and submerge in a bowl of dechlorinated water for 5 to 10 minutes every two to three days. Morning watering is preferable. Allow plant to dry fully before returning to sculpture.
Air plants continue to grow, bloom and produce offspring with proper care.
